25.11.2013. Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend pose)

This is a basic forward bend but instead of bringing focus on folding in half, this version focuses on lengthening the spine and slowly working into the spine. When I talk about leading with the sternum and keeping the shoulders and shoulder blades back, there is also the subtle action of bending at the hip crease rather than rounding the shoulders.
