This pose can be also be a hamstring stretch for the standing leg. If it’s tough for that leg, do the pose with a chair. Even when practicing in a studio, you can usually request a chair for certain poses as many yoga studios already have them. Work first on the legs and then move on to opening the chest and lifting that upper arm.
